Images
What size and format should images be?
The current EPUB specification allows these image formats: JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png) and WebP (.webp).
Cover images should ideally be sized 1618px wide and 2500px high.
How can I upload images?
Images are not hosted on this site. In order to add images, you will need to create an account with one of these image providers: Cloudinary .
You can then upload images to your chosen provider and copy & paste the image URL into the relevant image form modal on this site.
Alternatively, you can create API Keys for your provider and register them on this site. You will then be able to upload images directly from this site.
Cloudinary
To register API Keys to upload images, you need to:
- Create an account at Cloudinary
- Sign in to Cloudinary and go to Settings (the "cog" icon on the bottom left corner of the web page) => Product Environment Settings => API Keys.
- Click the "Generate New API Key" button to create a new set of keys.
- Sign in to the screebo site and go to Accounts => API Keys.
- Enter your Cloud Name (given next to the Cloudinary API Keys page title), your newly-generated API Key and API Secret into the form and save.
- Now, whenever you open an image form modal, you will be presented with an upload button that will upload the image directly to both Cloudinary and screebo.
